Centennial Park - Nashville
Haven't been there in a while, but there is always plenty and lots of flowers. Paint pretty.
Don't think you need directions.

"City's Reflections"
I'm back to painting cityscapes which I love so much! I painted this piece last night with my "Plein Air Nashville" friends from the pedestrian bridge over the river. What a gorgeous spot to paint from. Thanks to Bitsy for organizing this fun paint out...hope we do more this summer from this location!

The night paintout was a success!! Last night (7/22/09) we painted on the Pedestrian Bridge - Downtown Nashville. All you who stayed home because it was raining at 5:00 really missed a perfect painting night. We did an earlier, daylight one, then some stayed a did a "dark" one. (Next time we'll all remember our lights.)

The Cumberland.
Lisa arriving.

Sherrie's batman.

Kevin's bridge.

Erin's trusses?
Kevin, Dawn & Erin
Thalia, painting away.And, still painting.
Dawn's clouds.

Lisa painting a mini.

The lights just came on.

Sherrie, blindly painting.

Should have had a tripod. But, oh, what reflections!

This was mine, Bitsy's, done in the dark.
My subject.
I'm out of town this weekend, so I'll see you all on August 1st - we have a good spot planned.
Happy Painting at Centennial.
