For a change we'll try the afternoon!! It's supposed to rain in the morning, with thunderstorms, but they are saying we'll have sun by 2:00. (All of you still working on your taxes, can use your morning for that and paint with us later.)

It's that time of year when you can see the changes in color hour-by-hour as the buds come out. These pictures were taken this Wednesday, March 18th. Note the Redbud. A few days will make a big difference too. Come out and experience the change - right in front of your eyes.

No Paintout

Looks nasty - low 40's and rain. Hope for better weather next week.

No excuses! No sight of rain for Saturday! High 75!!! Wow!!!!! I've been wanting to go to the Shelby Park Golf Course for quite some time - had checked it out long ago and think it will be a good spot for this group. The view from the parking lot is wonderful (as well as the road that winds thru the golf course) and there are all the homes along Fatherland and Russell Streets, if you'd rather. There's also a nice lake in the park itself.

Take Shelby St. East to 10th, bear left on 10th, then take a Right on Fatherland.... it dead ends into the parking lot of Shelby Park Golf Course. (I'm sure we can't get on the course, but think you'll find plenty to paint.)
