Next Location - Scarritt-Bennett Center

Saturday, March 22, 2008, 7:45AM

We wish everyone a Happy Easter and hope you can find time to join us Saturday morning for a few hours of Spring-time painting. We've picked a nice mid-town spot - just across 21st from the Vanderbilt Campus .... where you can paint a church, in keeping with the Season.

Scarritt-Bennett has wonderful buildings/churches and here are some of their gorgeous doorways.

Check out this site - especially the Buildings .... perfect for architectural drawing or painting practice. There are directions on this site too, as well as a good map of the center. We'll meet along 19th Ave. S at 7:45 a.m. (in front of Scarritt Hall, Bennett Hall and Wightman Chapel). You can't miss it. Should be no problem parking on the street.

See you Saturday.
Happy Painting

Notice: Not painting Sat. March 8, 2008.
(Too cold for me - snow Fri. and Sat. - high Sat. around 32.)

We may have rushed the season a little last week, but we had a good turnout.
The regulars enjoyed a gorgeous warm pre-Spring day of painting. Thanks for coming out Dawn, Jason, Kevin, Cal and Jim. I forgot to take pictures to share, but we plan to return to Mt. Olivet again, as there is so much to paint - and so many Nashville history makers are buried there. You could spend hours just walking the graves.

We'll be in touch when it gets a little warmer.
In the meantime - Happy Painting.
