Historic Columbia

Columbia is a beautiful little Southern town - with Court House on the town square.  The Chestnut Group will be having a show at the end of April and they will be in the area painting until then.  (I've already heard that a bunch of them will be there tomorrow.)  They were sent a long list of suggested places to paint, but I'm suggesting that you go to the Court House to start, corner of Main St. & 7th.  Everything is within a few blocks, so feel free to paint anywhere you choose.

Here is the courthouse - 41 Public Square - and a map -

And, a view down Main Street -

You'll find several cafes around for your morning fix or a lunch snack.
Hope to see you in Columbia.

Happy Painting
