Happy Thanksgiving!
Saturday, November 28, 2009 - 8:00 a.m.
Centennial Park - Nashville

Although this is the Thanksgiving weekend, we're all busy with family and friends, and I will be in Atlanta, I'm sure there will be some of you here in town who can find a few hours to get out and paint. Centennial is such a good place to paint and so central that there are always a few that show up. It's supposed to be beautiful with high of 63. Have a good one and I'll see you next time.

By the way, beginning next week and for the cold winter months, we're going to try meeting in the afternoons when it is a little warmer. The light is really wonderful in the winter, with long shadows in mid to late afternoon making a sort of glow to everything.

Here's a picture from last week under the Lebanon Rd. bridge on the Stones River walkway. Note how much color he found although Fall is about gone.
