Sunflowers to Paint - South of Franklin.

Sunday - October 7,
Monday - October 8,
Tuesday - October 9,
Friday - October 12,
Sunday - October 14,
Monday - October 15 and
Tuesday - October 16th

We (anyone receiving the Plein Air Nashville email) have been invited by a fellow PAN and Chestnut Group member, Annie Goetze, to paint her amazingly beautiful sunflowers which will be blooming for the next couple weeks. She says there is no need to call ahead, but do stick to the listed days above. The field is out and ready for painters who would like to come - about an acre with rolling hills, cows, barn, rural setting .... pretty. Annie says the sunflowers are not full height, but about 4 feet tall and beautiful. You may want to bring a stool so you can see their tops.

Directions:
From downtown Franklin, go Main Street to West Main, which turns into Carters Creek Pike. About 4 miles out of town will be a V in road (Halfway Market) - stay straight - stay on Carters Creek Pike toward Burwood. You will pass a large lake and Bear Creek Road (sharp curve) on right. Start to look for long black fence on left - end of fence is 4080 Carters Creek Pike. (Driveway before Willow Hall or Willow Creek School.) Sharp drive, pond on the left - go all the way down drive thru gate - cannot miss the field of flowers.

Happy Painting.
