Next Location: The Nashville City Cemetery
Saturday - August 4, 2007 - 8:00 AM

"Opened in 1822, the City Cemetery is the oldest continuously operated public cemetery in Nashville. A walk through the cemetery is truly a walk through Nashville's history. The gravestones tell the stories ......" David Crockett, Tennessee Robertson Davis, James Robertson .....

We have permission from the Metro Parks and Recreation Dept. to paint Saturday morning. The gates open at 8:00, so that's when we'll start. Their website below mentions some activities by vandals, but don't let that scare you. The Parks Dept. knows we will be there, and they are notifying the Park Police to be on special lookout for us and to make sure the gates are open (4th Ave.) by 8:00.

The Cemetery is on the corner of 4th Ave. South (runs south only) and Oak St. (couple blocks south of Lafayette).

As it's always a good idea to practice "safety in numbers", I hope we have a good show Sat. - especially you guys.

Happy Painting
