Sorry!
Hamilton Creek Sailboat Marina - Sat., June 23, 2007

Under sail or in a slip, sailboats make interesting and beautiful painting. Paint from the clubhouse deck, from the bank, or out on the piers (but not individual slips). Just keep in mind that we are guests of the marina (and boat owners) and need to respect their property and privacy.

We'll start around 7:45 am or come earlier if you want.

Here is a link with pictures and directions.

Next Location: Hillsboro Village
Saturday June 16, 2007
7:45 am

Hillsboro Village is located on 21st Avenue. It is a four block collection of shops, boutiques and restaurants. Lots of colorful awnings and buildings. It is home to the Belcourt Theatre, Nashville's last surviving revival film house, which dates back to 1925. Also the Pancake Pantry, Fidos, Boscos, and Provence (just to name a few).

Let's start at the Belcourt.

The Belcourt Theatre is located at 2102 Belcourt Avenue in Hillsboro Village behind Pangaea and the Villager Tavern.

From I-440, take the 21st Avenue exit. Drive North on 21st Avenue into Hillsboro Village. Go through the Acklen Avenue light - the next street on the left is Belcourt Avenue. The theatre is up Belcourt Ave. on the right.

Parking is available behind the theatre, on the side streets, and in permissible spots in the lot adjacent to the theatre. Please respect other merchants' requests to not park in specially marked spots and fire lanes.

See you Saturday. Happy Painting. - Brenda

Beaman Park paint out, Saturday, June 9th. Directions: Take Briley Parkway to Exit 24, Ashland City Highway/State Route 12. From Briley, head south on S.R. 12, away from Ashland City. Turn left at the flashing caution sign onto Eatons Creek Road. Go four miles. Cross Old Hickory Boulevard and in less than a mile turn left onto Little Marrowbone Road. The park entrance is a half-mile farther on the left on 4111 Little Marrowbone Road. We'll meet at the parking lot at the bottom of the hill (there's another at the top of the hill).

Bug spray and long pants are highly recommended!! :) There are some nice bridges to paint from or that you may want to paint! Lots of creeks, great trees, etc.

My cell is 403.7685. I will try to be there promptly at 7:30am, so if you get lost, give me a call. I have a 2 door gold colored Acura so you know what to look for. And, for future paint-outs, if you have a location you'd like us to visit, please let us know!!

See you Saturday!
